Week of October 28th

Hey BMES,

I hope everyone had a great Halloween weekend! While most of you were out and about in costumes, four of our officers were down in Atlanta, Georgia, for the National BMES Annual Meeting. We saw presentations by some of the leadings experts in the field, mingled with other BMES chapters from across the country, and showed off what were doing here in Madison. If youd like to hear more about the conference as well as from Ken Gratz, Ph.D., from Stratatech Corp. come to this weeks General Meeting on Wednesday!

This week we also have a BUNCH of outreach events planned out for you guys. On Wednesday we will be Trick-or-Treating for Cans in the neighborhoods around campus. We will be making our usual trip to the Food Pantry on Friday. And last but definitely not least, we will be helping out with the Special Olympics Bowling tournament here in Madison on Saturday.

Have a great week!
